I’m always scouring ads for bikes and bike parts and got super excited when I came across this 1974 Honda MT125 Elsinore. Its a pretty rare bike and I was hoping to have a bike to eventually tag along with my daughter’s JT1 that she’s working on.
The Elsinore is a classic enduro bike with on/off road capability and my plan right now is to turn her into a beautiful updated scrambler with classic and semi-original styling, but she’s sat for 20 years and needs some serious TLC.
Bought it off a young man locally who went to school with my eldest son, so that was a neat connection.
So from what I can tell without getting my hands too dirty with it yet is that Elsinore needs a new fuel tank, carb, air filter, new suspension and tires along with a complete tune up and reconditioning prior to any custom work I want to do.
I love that I’ve got this bike in my collection and can’t wait to start customizing this beauty.
